JUMPBALL] Brandon Miller (Alabama) has come to terms with reality.
In an interview with The Athletic on Aug. 25, Miller expressed his excitement for the upcoming rookie draft.
Miller is a resource that experts have collectively hailed as the next Paul George (Clippers). A 2002-born wing who will enter the upcoming draft. In the 2022-2023 college season, he averaged 18.8 points and 8.2 rebounds on 43% shooting from the field and 38% from three-point range in 37 games. Playing style is smooth and concise, much like George.먹튀검증
Miller describes himself as “a guy who enjoys competing with his teammates up high.”
Two or three picks are a lock. The first pick is Victor Wembanyama (France). Miller is battling with Scott Henderson for the second pick.
“I think I’m the No. 1 pick, but you can’t beat Wembanyama’s physicality, I respect him,” Miller laughed.
As for the upcoming rookie draft, he said, “I’m taking it one day at a time with my family. There will be hugs and handshakes.”
“I look up to Paul George as a role model. I’ve mixed a little bit of my style into his game. I like him better when he was in Indiana. I like the George that plays for the Clippers now, but I think his best years were in Indiana.”
He vowed not to be a halfling. “I have a lot of pride in my defense. On offense, you’re going to have ups and downs. You have to be able to contribute on both sides of the ball. I’m going to focus on the little things, like diving and drawing fouls on attackers.”
“My goal is to be a vocal leader. In high school, I didn’t talk much. But in college, I became a vocal leader. I want to continue that in the NBA.”
