The 2023 try-against baseball tournament, in which professional players compete, will open on the 13th. Brothers Kim Jin-wook (former KIA Tigers) Jo Jung-hoon (former Lotte Giants) Jung Young-il (former SSG Landers) and Jung Hyeong-sik (former Samsung Lions) will appear.
The Korea Baseball Softball 메이저놀이터Association introduced on the 12th, “This tournament is a ‘Korean Series of Baseball for Friends’, in which only one representative team from 13 provinces participates, and all non-active players can participate.”
Gyeongbuk, who became the first champion in the first tournament held last year, will challenge for a second consecutive victory with Lee Young-wook from Samsung at the fore.

Busan, which lost to Gyeongbuk last year and took second place, strengthened its power by adding Park Jae-wook (former LG Twins), who showed off his presence in ‘strongest baseball’, to the existing power of Kim Dae-ryuk (former Lotte) and Noh Kwan-hyun (former KIA).
Gyeongnam, which placed third in the first tournament, strengthened its power by recruiting Jeong Su-min (former SSG) and Cho Jeong-hoon (former Lotte) as well as new Oh Hyeon-taek (former Lotte). In Gwangju, Kim Jin-woo (former KIA) protects the mound, following last year.
Starting with Jeong Yeong-il (former SSG), Incheon newly joined the team this year with Yun Gil-hyeon (former SK Wyverns) and Jung Hyeong-sik (former Samsung). Yoon Ji-woong (former LG) in Gangwon and Sim Jae-yoon (former NC) in Gyeonggi threw their votes to promote their own city.
The national teams from 13 cities and provinces participating in this tournament will be divided into 4 groups and will play a preliminary full league. The top 4 teams in each group will be crowned winners in a tournament. The preliminary round will be held at Gyeongju Baseball Park for a total of four days on the 13th and 14th (Groups A and B) and the 20th and 21st (Groups C and D). In the final round, where the final four teams rose, the semi-finals on the 27th and the final on the 28th will be held at Daejeon Hanwha Life Insurance Eagles Park to determine the winning team.
