‘Ryu Hyun-jin is back’
MLB.com, the official website of Major League Baseball, highlighted the performance of Ryu Hyun-jin, who improved to 2-1 on the season with a five-inning, seven-strikeout, two-run (non-hit) performance as the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Cincinnati Reds, 10-3, in Cincinnati, Ohio, on April 21.
MLB.com wrote, “Ryu doesn’t throw fastballs like other pitchers. He doesn’t have one of those pitches that makes you go ‘wow’. But he is smart. He reads hitters’ swings and enthusiasm better than anyone. He’s very intimidating to young (inexperienced) hitters and aggressive hitters.
