Choi Won-jun of the Doosan Bears started against Hanwha in Daejeon on the 13th and was removed after two innings. He gave up four runs on five hits in 1⅓ innings.

Leadoff hitter Moon Hyun-bin opened the inning with a single up the middle. One out later, No. 3 Roh Si-hwan drew a walk to put runners on first and second. The centre-fielders came through. Choi Won-jun has been very strong for Hanwha this season. On 2 August, he started against Hanwha and gave up one run on three hits in five innings. On 18 April, he pitched seven innings of one-hit ball. Prior to this game, he had pitched 12 innings and one run in two games against Hanwha with a 0.75 ERA.
Facing Choi for the first time in 11 days, however, the Hanwha batters looked like a different team.
